Debt - The Unnecessary Burden

Often times we, as humans, tend to over rationalize our financial situations by agreeing with ourselves or our spouses, that we need more money. I have heard it time and time again, “If I had this much money I could buy this, or live like this, or by this house or that car.”
The problem with this sort of mindset is greed. Money in itself is not wrong, it is the love of money that is the root of all evil. Money is not evil? Nope. Money takes on the personality of it's owner and that owner decides how that money is to be used, when, and where. Right? Okay. Now, take that bit of knowledge and overlay it on top of the greed theory. If you use money to gain more it is evil because that money has become your idol. If you spend money that is used for evil it curses the people, places and things that come into contact with that money. How so? you may ask. Let us look closely at a portion of Scripture that is directly related to this issue then we will discuss on how to be free of financial burdens.

10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
(1 Peter 6:10)

This scripture seems to allude to the fact that we ourselves become cursed when we start becoming greedy. A curse is a manifestation of evil and evil is never constrained just to one person, for it is always spreading. So if you become cursed, the presupposition of that curse spreading, as implied within this verse, I feel is very clearly defined.
In more simple terms, this scripture implies that when you are cursed you become a manifestation of evil that spreads it’s filthy lucre to their people, places and things.
Let us start to tie up the lose ends by taking a look at ourselves. If you are overburdened by debt, there is a reason for it, and it is because you spent more than you could afford to pay back. The natural humanistic instinct is to force your own guilt upon another person or some physical object in order for one’s own self to look better and to avoid being the cause of any wrong doing. The reason for this is quite simple, we are naturally sinful but our, vain, fleshly, carnal selves are too stuck upon our wants. When we want something so bad it takes precedent over thing else, it becomes an idol and turns into greed. When this occurs, our wants become confused with our needs and they tend to get their positions reversed in the order of their priority, or importance.
Okay. Now we have the full picture of what it means to be in debt. If you have not yet grasped the specific ramifications and implications discussed, please go back and review them before moving on. To be free from a financial problem you must first be free from the spiritual problem that is holding you back. To do this is simple: ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins and turn your life over to Him. By your life, I am indicating the choices and decisions you make, rather than yourself becoming a slave to Him. Believe it or not, there are some that hold the view that turning your life over to Jesus means became an indentured slave, or servant. In all actuality, when the Bible uses this term it is clearly making the implication that it is the choices and decisions you make, not your actual self.
When you have surrendered every form of evil to Him, now you are ready to set a battle plan to destroy the evil enemy, in this case debt.
Often times when one has a problem with debt, materialism plays a key factor. They want to live the life they do now without having to sacrifice some things temporarily to get out of debt. Well, if those thoughts or feelings are still fluttering around inside your head, then you are not going to be able to fix your current financial situation. Bring them, the evil imaginations, under the captivity, or subjection, of Jesus Christ.
To be able to know how much money you will need to get yourselves out of debt, take every bill you have, add them up, and see what it amounts to. To be able to get yourselves out of debt, get into the mindset that you will be willing to do anything it takes to get you free of this burden, just do not take it to the extreme. If it is a huge amount, say, in upwards of $100,000, it may take you downsizing to a smaller or even renting a place temporarily. It may even take getting rid of some luxury items: expensive cars, expensive jewelry that you are still paying on, the boat, gym memberships, and other miscellaneous items. Please keep in mind, if it is less than a hundred grand, but more than fifty, you might need to do this also.
This is a general idea of what the sacrifices may be if you owe money. Everyone’s experience will be different, but the general rule of thumb is not to get more jobs, but get rid of the stuff that caused you to get in this mess in the first place.
“I want to give my kids a better life.” or, “I want to have the dream life.” That is not reality! To enslaves yourself to some ideology is foolish! Life is not what you make it, but how you view it, If want to have the dream life you can do it while making less than a thousand dollars a months. If you want to make the best life for your kids, you can do it in a smaller house. It is not going to kill you, I promise! This is one of the reason we have people killing, stealing, and selling drugs. People wonder, “I can’t believe there is God because there is evil in this world.” To be quite frank and little mean: Dummy, the problem is you not God! You just admitted that you don’t exist! How is that? If you say you do not believe God exists because there is evil, then by your own admission you do not exist because the problem is you. I’m not God!? Your the closest thing this world sees, even though everyone’s idea of God tends to differ. Whether you our your own God or someone else’s, the fact still remains. In Genesis, it says God made men to be gods over the earth.
Anyways, back to the main line of discussion. To wrap it all up for you: get smart, get free, and stop wanting to accumulate earthly wealth. It is not wrong to accumulate earthly goods, just when it causes you to lose out on the pleasures of life (i.e. freedom).
I hope this has given you insight into the importance of living a life devoid of being dependent on earthly treasures and living a life dependent on God. Jesus said, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. “
God bless you everyone. Go, and get free from financial burdens, I Jesus name.

The Lifeway Truth Diet Plan

The Lifeway Truth diet plan is not about adhering to a personal menu option or cutting calories, or anything like that, but about exercising your mind. I know this post is quite off track for what I usually write on, but I am about seeking the Truth, no matter where it leads to.
Now, let me first state that there is no such thing as fat people, but the fact of the matter is that there are people with lazy minds. This has no bearing on intelligence, but it does have common ground with the thought patterns that penetrates our consciences. Let me explain. When we fail to utilize a God given gift, in this case the ability to choose right over wrong (free will), then are minds can grow lazy. Or, when we fail to choose wrong over right. In short, our obesity is directly related to our moral standards in which we live by, not the food. People say, “Oh, the food has mad me fat,” or, “McDonalds has mad me gain a hundred pounds.” It is not the food people, but it is our choices that make us fat. If we would exercise our minds on the book that declares moral unity and proficiency for all, the Holy Word of God, we would learn to utilize our minds to decide right over wrong. We cannot expect a diet to succeed when our minds are in a lazy state. When we choose to do more wrong than good, it means we have allowed that organic tissue in our heads, called a brain, to grow soft. When we work out what is wrong and what is right by investigating the truth in the Holy Word of God, then we begin to understand God’s promises, His provisions, His standards for daily living! We can never expect to succeed when our choices are to do wrong and commit evil in this already dark world.
We must meet with God on a daily basis and decide for ourselves what is wrong and right for each of us. Based upon your situation, we may be allowed to do things the other isn’t allowed to. Why? It is due to the fact that, even though there is one book that covers all of this, our minds are often times unable to understand the simplicity of God’s standards to live by. His standards are: To love Him as He first loved you. Meaning, love Him above all else. Above home, family, friends, work, or above anything else. The second one is to, love others as Jesus would love them. The Bible does say to love others as you would want o be loved. But who are you? You are child of God, but you and Jesus are planted together in righteousness it says, meaning you and Jesus are one and the same.
Now, to wrap it all up. When you put God first in your life you glorify Him. Only then will your ability to make the right choices begin to manifest themselves in your life. When your life stops being about you, you, you, and becomes all about God, Family friends and others, then does it start to work its own self out.
“Oh, I am a Christian but I am still fat. I do worship and glorify God everyday.” The why have all you said was I, I, I? Was your question centered around God or yourself? This is what I trying to convey to you: we are not aware of what we think, what we, or what we do, because we are so caught up with our own selves. Start shutting up about who are and start magnifying the name of God, the name of Jesus, and the Name of the Holy Spirit. What has He done for you!?
He has released form that grave, come out of that grave of sin and death, and start living in the life He as made for you.
You may believe you choose to do the right things everyday. But here is the thing, you think you have the ability to choose to do the right thing, right? Well, you don’t. Only God does. He is the one that comes and lives inside you at the moment His Son saves you and gives you eternal life. This is the moment that changed your life forever, or so it should have. Often times we return to the grave we have been delivered from.
Am I saying that God will automatically knock fifty, or a hundred pounds of fat off your body? No, even though He can if He decides to.
But He gives to the ability to succeed on your diet and wants to give you the right plan to succeed His will and His Word. Abide by them, and you will succeed at your diet, at life, and whatever else you put your hand to. Will it be easy? No, just easier. When you choose to rely on the strength of God, the strength of the name of Jesus, that is when you give yourself fully over to God. Only then will you change. The reason we fail to change is that our lives are about us and how we can look better, and not about how we can better glorify God. I am going to share a verse with you and the we’ll pray. There is a verse I want you to look at:

Peter 4:11
#11 If anyone speaks, let it be as it were the very words of God. If anyone serves, let it be as of the strength which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Say a prayer with me now, “Heavenly Father, forgive me of what I have mad my life. I have made it all about me and not about You. Father, I trust you have forgiven me, now reveal to me your plan for my life. I want lose weight so I can better glorify you, not so, I can look better or so I can boast of myself. But I want boast of you my Awesome and Wonderful God. I love you Father. In Jesus name, I have received that I have been released from weight gain and all selfishness. In Jesus name, Amen.”

I truly hope you have gained a new found truth, or a reinforcement of an old one. If you have any questions, contact me at: project_fredom@hotmail.com or Justin@freedomtoresist.org

I will leave you with one final verse:

John 8:54
54 Jesus answered, “If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say that he is our God.

God bless you friends. Be blessed, in the name of Jesus.

The World We Live In

There has been a great rise recently in the price of gas. This rise in price is not due to the oil industry or the gas cartel, it is the fault of all the people of this nation. This nation is so worldly and materialistic, that we have become so involved in our daily lives that we cannot see the evil we wreak upon this world every day. Evil? Yes, evil. We gossip, whine, complain, piss and moan, speak negative, act negative and continue to be a miserable lot of people. Oh, we are so blessed, we are such a fortunate nation, blah, blah, blah. If we are so blessed why are we in the mess we are in? The gas prices are going up, there is a rise in violence, and there is a rise in abortions. We are so prosperous as a nation babies are a commodity, if we don't want one we can just kill it and go on with our lives. Why are we experiencing so much evil and hardly anything good? Look at the way you think, the way you speak, and the way you act. Is there any negativity there? If so, then I am going to tell you, you are the reason the world is like it is. It is not because God allows it, but it is because we allow it. Do you think God will interfere in the matters of this world if we don't want Him to? No way! We have to want Him to. In the same way we have to want, or have a desire, to act, speak, and think according to truth if want this world to change.
If we would start getting our heads on straight and start a quest for the real truth, instead of the world's "idea" of what truth is, then lines of truth and lies will be clearly delineated. I know I have already said Jesus was the truth, but did you know, with or without Jesus, you can make a difference? Jesus is there to help you, to save you, and to get you through this life in one piece, yes. But we can make a difference if we would just practice positive thinking by itself. There would be a huge difference in the world we live in. Positive energy imprints itself upon the things, people, and places around you. Did you know that your energy stains, or imprints, itself on the things around you? If you take a negative energy and imprint it upon, for instance, a house. That house will have a negative energy, a negative atmosphere, and the inhabitants of that house would be negative. So, a positive energy imprinting itself upon the house would have the adverse reaction and have a positive outcome, right?
Now, let us take a look at what we learned and apply it to the gas prices. If we start speaking positively about the gas prices then that positivism we radiate through our words will imprint itself upon the gas/oil industry and there would be a positive outcome. How can you speak positive about the gas prices? First, before we move on, let me plan one thing. There are some things that are very negative, meaning that there would have to be many positive people imprinting positively upon that certain thing for it to change (i.e. the gas prices). Now, I'll give you a few scenarios to help aid your understanding in this matter. "When you go to the gas pumps just say, "The gas prices have come down today. Tomorrow they will be even lower." (Or something to that effect) It doesn't matter if it is true or not or how silly it seems, just try it. If it doesn't work what have you lost?
Here is a second scenario. If someone starts complaining to you about how high the gas prices are, just say, "Yeah, isn't it great?"
Do you see it now? If we stop complaining and start speaking in a way that reflects a positive outlook, then this world will be imprinted positively, and the world would have to change. A positively imprinted object has no choice but respond in a positive manner; it can't act contrary to how it is programmed.
In conclusion this nation and this world are so heavily imprinted with negativity, that it is destined for ruin. If negative humans started behaving positively to very situation then the world would react in a positive way. Firmly hold forth to the truth that was taught by The Truth, that in the end everything will work out, one way or another.
Wouldn't everything work out so much better if we got our game on and started to do something about the condition of this world, instead of complaining about it? Stop the pissing and the moaning and start shutting up the negativity and putting up the positive energy.
We need to get out of our stinkin' thinkin' and get into a state of positive thinking. This is the Lifeway Truth about the negative world in which we live. Accept it or not, this nation, and this world, will not change without us doing something about. Act the way of The Lifeway Truth, act in a positive way and the actions of the world will follow suit. Jesus was the perfect example of this, because He reacted in a positive way, and even though others reacted negatively against Him, more and more people started reacting positively. By the time He was crucified, there was more positive energy at work than negative. Wow! If we could only live the way He did. Guess what? We can. This is the Lifeway Truth, not religion, but life.

Modern Day Religions

The religions in today's world take on many forms, but they always lead to one thing, bondage. Today's world seeks to find truth in just the things they choose to. But this search leads to bondage, in that they want to find God, or Allah, or enlightenment. The truth is this: you cannot find God, Allah, or enlightenment, by trying to work you way to them. You can only find truth when it is freely given to you, not when you try to seek it on your own. The more you work towards these"gods" or "higher consciousness", the more it enslaves you. There are people who have worked, and worked, trying to appease gods or trying to achieve further enlightenment, but in actuality, it serves no greater purpose for that person than to restrict him from a life of happiness and fulfillment.
Let me clarify a few things before moving on. You may find yourself asking, "I am happy and I do have fulfillment. Where do you get off telling me I don't have those things?"
The happiness and/or fulfillment you may have is restricted because of your religion. Therefore, if happiness or fulfillment is restricted, they lose there meaning. In short, it is not real happiness or fulfillment. It is a veil thrown over you eyes to hide the truth from you.
The Lifeway Truth about religions is this: do not adhere to a "religion", adhere to a way of life that fulfills the meaning of happiness and fulfillment. What is the meaning of happiness? Well, it does not come from God, Allah, Buddha, or any other "god". It comes from being responsible and accountable for your actions. Then will happiness ensue and your life will take on greater meaning from that point on.
To be able to find fulfillment you must have a higher power that does not restrict your happiness, hinders you from fulfillment, or places you into bondage. One which can give you freedom without having to work for it. Religion is man's way to reach God, and for us to be able to have fulfillment God must reach down and touch our lives. In my own experience, there is no religion that can do this, not even Christianity. Yeah, we have all heard: "God has touched my life." If He has, does your lifestyle reflect that? You see, truth is evident in the lifestyle of the one who knows that truth. There are many people who say their religion is "truth". In most cases the truth they believe in is not really lived by, but is just a concept that gives them a good self image. They proclaim truth, but action does not ensue.
To wrap it up: people do what they do because of what they believe. If you proclaim you know truth, ask yourself if you live by it. I have never encountered any religion that lives up to what it teaches or preaches. Let us be honest with ourselves on one point. You cannot live entirely true to any religion, but you can live by truth and that will be the key to living free of bondage. The truth I believe in is the Truth, the Life, and the Way, Jesus Christ; I am His follower, a follower of the Way. I cannot live the Christian life, or the life of any religion, for it is impossible. I live each day by the strength that comes from Jesus. Do I live perfectly? No, I do not. Do I believe Jesus wants me to adhere to a certain way of life? No, just the truth. Am I a hypocrite? No, just a human being who is fallible and capable of making mistakes. I do not claim to be perfect, but instead, I am imperfect and just a normal man. I know from living life that you cannot try to prove to others what is true or isn't, you have to let them make up their own minds. God is not going to make you accept Him and neither is He going to send you to hell. This life is for you to decide how to view it, and how you view it is how you will live. You hold the key to the truth and there is only one truth, one key, and one door for you to walk through. Will you walk through the door and find truth and fulfillment? Or will you be one of those people who say there is no God because they do not want to be responsible or accountable for their actions? Let us be frank on a final point here. People will do evil things, yes. God doesn't allow these things to happen and neither does Satan. Instead, people do evil things because they believe in the wrong things. God is not going to interfere here one earth unless we want Him to. He lets us do what we do to learn from them and if we do not learn from them, whose fault is that? To be brief, believe in the wrong things and your lifestyle will reflect it. Believe in the right things, the truth, your lifestyle will reflect it AND the world will be changed by it. The reason the world is in such a bad state is because we allow it and because we believe in the wrong things.
Please, do not get me wrong. This is not religion repackaged. It is just a way to be free from any baggage you may be carrying around. You do not have to give up anything and neither does God require it. Come as you are and experience the Truth, the Life, and the Way. This is what the Lifeway Truth is all about: being free of religion. The Lifeway truth will set you free. Good deeds can't do it, you can't do it, and nobody can do it, just Jesus. Jesus is the Lifeway Truth. Follow The Way, not the ways of man. Jesus is a choice and a lifestyle, not religion and not bondage.
The truth is out there and the truth will set you free.
