The Lifeway Truth Diet Plan

The Lifeway Truth diet plan is not about adhering to a personal menu option or cutting calories, or anything like that, but about exercising your mind. I know this post is quite off track for what I usually write on, but I am about seeking the Truth, no matter where it leads to.
Now, let me first state that there is no such thing as fat people, but the fact of the matter is that there are people with lazy minds. This has no bearing on intelligence, but it does have common ground with the thought patterns that penetrates our consciences. Let me explain. When we fail to utilize a God given gift, in this case the ability to choose right over wrong (free will), then are minds can grow lazy. Or, when we fail to choose wrong over right. In short, our obesity is directly related to our moral standards in which we live by, not the food. People say, “Oh, the food has mad me fat,” or, “McDonalds has mad me gain a hundred pounds.” It is not the food people, but it is our choices that make us fat. If we would exercise our minds on the book that declares moral unity and proficiency for all, the Holy Word of God, we would learn to utilize our minds to decide right over wrong. We cannot expect a diet to succeed when our minds are in a lazy state. When we choose to do more wrong than good, it means we have allowed that organic tissue in our heads, called a brain, to grow soft. When we work out what is wrong and what is right by investigating the truth in the Holy Word of God, then we begin to understand God’s promises, His provisions, His standards for daily living! We can never expect to succeed when our choices are to do wrong and commit evil in this already dark world.
We must meet with God on a daily basis and decide for ourselves what is wrong and right for each of us. Based upon your situation, we may be allowed to do things the other isn’t allowed to. Why? It is due to the fact that, even though there is one book that covers all of this, our minds are often times unable to understand the simplicity of God’s standards to live by. His standards are: To love Him as He first loved you. Meaning, love Him above all else. Above home, family, friends, work, or above anything else. The second one is to, love others as Jesus would love them. The Bible does say to love others as you would want o be loved. But who are you? You are child of God, but you and Jesus are planted together in righteousness it says, meaning you and Jesus are one and the same.
Now, to wrap it all up. When you put God first in your life you glorify Him. Only then will your ability to make the right choices begin to manifest themselves in your life. When your life stops being about you, you, you, and becomes all about God, Family friends and others, then does it start to work its own self out.
“Oh, I am a Christian but I am still fat. I do worship and glorify God everyday.” The why have all you said was I, I, I? Was your question centered around God or yourself? This is what I trying to convey to you: we are not aware of what we think, what we, or what we do, because we are so caught up with our own selves. Start shutting up about who are and start magnifying the name of God, the name of Jesus, and the Name of the Holy Spirit. What has He done for you!?
He has released form that grave, come out of that grave of sin and death, and start living in the life He as made for you.
You may believe you choose to do the right things everyday. But here is the thing, you think you have the ability to choose to do the right thing, right? Well, you don’t. Only God does. He is the one that comes and lives inside you at the moment His Son saves you and gives you eternal life. This is the moment that changed your life forever, or so it should have. Often times we return to the grave we have been delivered from.
Am I saying that God will automatically knock fifty, or a hundred pounds of fat off your body? No, even though He can if He decides to.
But He gives to the ability to succeed on your diet and wants to give you the right plan to succeed His will and His Word. Abide by them, and you will succeed at your diet, at life, and whatever else you put your hand to. Will it be easy? No, just easier. When you choose to rely on the strength of God, the strength of the name of Jesus, that is when you give yourself fully over to God. Only then will you change. The reason we fail to change is that our lives are about us and how we can look better, and not about how we can better glorify God. I am going to share a verse with you and the we’ll pray. There is a verse I want you to look at:

Peter 4:11
#11 If anyone speaks, let it be as it were the very words of God. If anyone serves, let it be as of the strength which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Say a prayer with me now, “Heavenly Father, forgive me of what I have mad my life. I have made it all about me and not about You. Father, I trust you have forgiven me, now reveal to me your plan for my life. I want lose weight so I can better glorify you, not so, I can look better or so I can boast of myself. But I want boast of you my Awesome and Wonderful God. I love you Father. In Jesus name, I have received that I have been released from weight gain and all selfishness. In Jesus name, Amen.”

I truly hope you have gained a new found truth, or a reinforcement of an old one. If you have any questions, contact me at: project_fredom@hotmail.com or Justin@freedomtoresist.org

I will leave you with one final verse:

John 8:54
54 Jesus answered, “If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say that he is our God.

God bless you friends. Be blessed, in the name of Jesus.
